Hanau sits east of Frankfurt, where the Rhein-Main area gives way to the Kinzig valley. Many riders from here come to me in Bensheim because they prefer a thorough session to a quick measurement. You work directly with me, Lloyd Thomas.
Around Hanau many riders mix flat riding in the valley with climbs towards the Spessart. That mix asks for a position that rolls calmly on the flat and does not fall apart under load on the climb.
Why the trip is worth it
A precise fit saves the cycle of guesswork and single changes. If pain slows you down on longer rides, I look for the cause rather than the next quick swap of parts.
The session after the trip from Hanau
Hanau sits east of Frankfurt, where the Rhein-Main area gives way to the Kinzig valley and the first foothills of the Spessart begin. With about an hour’s drive, most riders coming from here spend many hours in the saddle at a time and want a position that still holds late into a long day. After the movement screen, I check how you sit in the flat valley and how that changes once the climbs toward the Spessart start. I adjust saddle, cleats and cockpit so your neck, hands and sit bones stay calm even after several hours, and work through the changes in a clear order. You leave with a fit report and the final measurements, so the drive from Hanau is genuinely worth it. The full process is at Bike Fitting in Bensheim.
